GAIRIMUDI – SCHOOL
STATE OF PROGRESS
125 000 €
Gairimudi was heavily impacted by the 2015 earthquakes. Several sections of the school building were destroyed. At our arrival, temporary classrooms made out of metal sheets had been build to allow the school to go on. A local association, l’association Garuda Népal, reached out to us to remedy this situation.
By the end of the construction, the village situated in the Dolakha district will have an earthquake resistant school of 12 classrooms, spread out in 6 buildings for a total surface of 320 m², allowing 300 children from the age of 6 to 18 to receive a proper education.
